Keep It Short
The best engravings are short enough to read at a glance and personal enough to stop her mid-reach. Three to eight words is the sweet spot.
You're not writing a letter. You're leaving a mark.

Match the engraving to your relationship. If you call her Mum, write Mum. If you have a nickname for her, use it. The point is that when she picks up that board — tomorrow, in three years, in ten — it sounds like you.
